TOUR #1726 – Delta Birding Cruise #1

About this event

TOUR DESCRIPTION

Start your day with a relaxing cruise through the waterways of the California Delta alongside a licensed local boat operator and a birder/naturalist. Morning is an excellent time to observe wildlife as birds leave their overnight roosts to feed and the Delta comes to life.

Watch for geese, ducks, and other waterfowl overhead, while scanning the shoreline for the many birds and mammals that inhabit the Delta. Sandhill Cranes and Tundra Swans may also be seen, along with a variety of raptors, shorebirds, and songbirds. This tour offers a peaceful way to experience the Delta’s rich wildlife and scenic landscapes.
