About this event

Dr. Gregory Pierce of UCLA’s Luskin Center for Innovation will discuss the role water systems played in fighting the 2 recent major LA fires (Palisades and Eaton). In addition, he will cover the UCLA-UCANR Working Group's ongoing research and policy engagement in public narratives and perceptions of water systems' fire-fighting capacity, available and fiscally realistic engineering and collaborative options for water systems to fight everyday fires and wildfires, and the role of state oversight in shaping how water systems approach wildfire fighting.

Listed by Sacramento State (Trumba), gathered by the Sacramento events calendar.
